The second volume in the series of Kabbalistic novels The Scrolls of Metatron. In this volume, the Scribe of God returns to Heaven after a prolonged and traumatic stay on Earth (see The First Scroll). God commands him to prepare a heavenly army that is to cleanse the Earth of all evil. Metatron, of course, obeys the Almighty, but he interprets his task in a peculiar way. Partly based on the 2000-year-old book Tobias, this volume tells of the selection of the souls Metatron chooses for the leadership of the Heavenly Host, of the characters of the ancestors of the Messiah, and of the fate of Lilleet and her demonic son. In the third volume, Metatron will bring the long-awaited Messiah.
