Early Childhood Caries (ECC) is a global epidemic problem affecting majority of preschool children, which if left untreated leads to degenerating conditions in primary dentition even at a very young age. The mutilated teeth can be restored with full coverage restorations in order to preserve the integrity of primary dentition and their natural exfoliation.Full coverage options include Polycarbonate crowns, acid etched crowns, Stainless-Steel crowns (SSCs), Open faced SSC, Strip crowns etc. Each of these techniques presents technical, functional or aesthetic compromises that complicate their efficient and effective usage.
