Across Canada people whine and snivel about their politicians, but never do anything about it. Why not? Because they can't so why even try. The characters in the book are trying get changes made, while staying out of trouble... Author Graham Clews turns several perceived government wrongs into a cause célèbre for his ageing cast of characters (while getting a few things off his chest, at the same time). The book is a tongue in cheek dig at our political process, laced with a good hard look at a few costly, unfair benefit programs sanctioned by both major political parties.
