A history of the organized church from the time of the Apostles is recounted, with the teachings of St. Paul taken as the first precepts upon which Christians founded their churches. The notion of apostolicity - that the church has a goals to accomplish received from heaven - is also elaborated upon.The author worked as Principal of Dorchester Missionary College in the late 19th century, educating and tutoring many students and those who aspired to travel far and wide to spread the word of God.
