Children may wish to act out the story themselves, perhaps with the addition of drumming and other sounds, to add to the tension of the performance.The stunning pictures in the book, produced by the outstanding illustrator Vasylyna Tumanova, will inevitably draw the reader into the story and capture their interest, as it reaches its climax. The drawings truly encapsulate the feel of the poem, as well as the tension and the emotions experienced by the principal animal characters.
