Zone Thirteen is a ruined outer sector of rusted pylons, fractured ground, and dying systems, where life is held together through salvage, habit, and whatever still answers when touched. Aeloria has learned how to move through it without drawing notice. He keeps his head down, trades what he finds, and returns each night to the shack he shares with Larn.

Then he finds a shard that should not exist.

When the object responds to him, the Zone changes. Dormant systems awaken. Machines begin to search. The ground itself slips out of alignment. As pressure closes around him, Aeloria is forced into a chain of events that tears him from the only life he has known and pushes him towards something older, larger, and far less human than the world that raised him.
