Widow's Fall. An 80s Cosmic Horror Thriller (en Inglés) - Dillon Demaine

Something fell from the sky over Widow's Fall.
And it was never meant for Earth.

Lucy Doyle has spent her entire life trapped in a dying logging town where dreams rot as slowly as the abandoned mills.

So when she and her two closest friends-George and Ben-decide to escape into the deep Maine wilderness for one last weekend before graduation, it feels like freedom.

No town.
No expectations.
No future waiting to crush them.

Just the forest.

Then the sky tears open.

A burning object crashes deep inside Blackwood Ravine, lighting the forest with an impossible amber glow. What they find in the crater isn't just a meteor.

It's alive.

Something ancient has arrived from the dark between stars.
Something that seeps into the earth.
Something that infects the woods... and the people who enter them.

As the forest begins to change and a strange alien brood spreads through the ravine, Lucy realizes the falling star wasn't an accident.

It was the beginning of an invasion.

Now the three friends must survive a night in a wilderness that is no longer natural-where the trees whisper, the insects hunt in swarms, and something inside the crater is growing.

Because the thing that fell from the sky is only the seed.

And it has already begun to hatch.
