Does an angel named Phanuel really exist? If so, is he the one who wrestled with Jacob, God's chosen leader of the Israelites? What is his special role in repentance in today's world? Was he the Angel of Peace at Fatima?The author starts out on a venture by examining ancient texts to build a case for a little known and very mysterious angel. His search led to some unexpected surprises. He now believes the angel 's name is directly linked to special devotions to the face of Jesus that are growing in popularity among Christians today. One of the devotions is directly connected to the Shroud of Turin, Jesus' burial cloth. He shares that the topic is likely to draw strong criticism from various Christian denominations because it focuses on an angel that obviously is not in the standard Christian bible. At the end of the book he tells how he plans to defend himself against opposition from even the Vatican.
