Kristin Harmel (nacida en 1979 en Newton, Massachusetts) es una escritora y periodista estadounidense reconocida por sus novelas de ficción histórica ambientadas en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Comenzó su carrera como reportera deportiva a los 16 años y trabajó durante más de una década para la revista People, además de colaborar con otros medios como Men’s Health y Woman’s Day. Es cofundadora y copresentadora del pódcast literario Friends & Fiction.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran The Book of Lost Names (2020), finalista del National Jewish Book Award y del Goodreads Choice Award, The Forest of Vanishing Stars (2021), The Winemaker’s Wife (2019) y The Paris Daughter (2023). Sus novelas han sido traducidas a más de 30 idiomas y han alcanzado los primeros puestos en las listas de The New York Times y USA Today . Harmel reside en Orlando, Florida, con su familia.
