Our visits were when we were mid seventies and mid sixties, respectively, and we cover every stage from leaving our front door to getting back again. If you have looked at some of the travel books, you will know a lot, but here you will find little details and anecdotes that bring things alive and appeal especially to the mature traveller - even lively-minded youngsters in their forties and fifties, like some of our fellow travellers. Go to India. It's wonderful; but buy this book first!
