Reseña del libro "Toby Parker and the Night Bus to Nowhere (The Toby Parker Series) (en Inglés)"

Toby Parker will take the next bus anywhere. He just wasn’t expecting it to have legs. At eleven, Toby has spent most of his life in a London orphanage, where his pointed ears make him a target and kindness usually comes with a catch. One miserable night, he packs his few belongings and runs away. With nowhere to go, he decides to board the next bus that arrives. But this double-decker has red fur, far too many feet, and headlights that are watching him. His journey takes him to the Singularity, a place where seven worlds meet and almost nothing behaves as it should. An elf who looks his age has two centuries of opinions. A bag holds rooms full of things he probably shouldn’t touch. For the first time, Toby finds people he wants to stay with, and a reason to believe the ears he has always hated might mean he belongs. Then he discovers that being half human and half elf can get him into considerably more trouble here than it ever did in London. With powerful people questioning his right to remain and something sinister threatening his new home, Toby becomes entangled in a mystery no one has solved for a thousand years. There are secrets worth stealing, strangers worth trusting, and friends he cannot bear to lose. Surviving will require courage, a little dishonesty, and rather more generosity than a boy who has never had anything is comfortable with. Toby Parker and the Night Bus to Nowhere begins Dan Reynolds’s fantasy saga with unruly magic, unlikely friendships, dangerous secrets, and the search for somewhere worth calling home.
