The book tells its story through the eyes of an honest, hardworking man who is neither political nor angry by nature. Hans Brown is caught between his family's history and the challenges and discord of living in the United States in the twenty-first century.Brown is an honest man trying to make sense out of two political storms occurring a century apart as he also wrestles with the challenges that he faces in his personal life.
