Reseña del libro "The Tortoise and the Hare Retold (en Inglés)"

With the fabulously illustrated The Tortoise and the Hare Retold, school psychologist Dr. Alvin Caldwell Jr. flips the classic story on its head to show children and adults alike not just what it means to achieve their goals but also how to identify and modify their behaviors to do so. The Tortoise already finished the race with his perseverance-now it's the Hare that must change and grow. When he realizes that the Tortoise has won, anguish fills his mind. He looks back on how he felt when he entered the race and thinks about what it would mean to finish it. Many of us can relate to the Hare. We aren't where we want to be in our lives. We haven't won first place. We haven't achieved our goals. And we're too ashamed and embarrassed to keep trying. The Tortoise and the Hare Retold demonstrates how to turn these negative thoughts into positive results. Maybe it doesn't matter where we finish in the race, as long as we finish.
