Drawing on Glissant's poetics of relation, Brathwaite's tidalectics, Sharpe's wake work, Manjapra's Black Ghost of Empire, the essay traces what the Sister's leap set in motion: a people forged in the hold, a counterspell propagating through marronage and music across six centuries, a Ghost the machine declared eliminated and that has never stopped growing.
