An informative, humorous warts and all, account of the author and his wife's 30 years association with, and living permanently in Spain. It begins with a soul destroying but eventually successful ten year fight to stave off re-possession of their newly purchased holiday home in the sun, to eventually finding peace and paradise in a remote and mountainous hamlet in North East Andalucia. It is at the same time a reminder to those seeking retirement in the sun that making the move abroad is not all as straight forward as one assumes. The author provides an insight into the history of the Sierra Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, one of Spain's largest Natural Parks. The daily life in the rural hamlet of Poyotello, (pop 8) 4500ft up in the Sierra Segura and the colourful local people and their customs. "Hey, why you come live here, you loco?" Finally, he vividly explains the reasons for he and his wife selecting rural Spain in general, and Poyotello in particular, to live out their dream. "No. We no loco"
