Reseña del libro "The Life and Love of Moving on (en Inglés)"

This book is about a young girl who dreams of being a nurse and travelling to far flung countries of the world in a time when travelling was done mainly by ship, with no modern amenities such as mobile phones. 'A wonderful and absorbingly interesting record of times gone by, seen through the eyes of, for the most part, a young woman who became a nurse and midwife, who gives us intriguing glimpses of what it was like nursing the sick and German prisoners of war during the war, and what life was like aboard ship moving to a new life in New Zealand. The diverse tableaux of life in New Zealand and later in Cyprus that she captures constitute a valuable record of recent modern history, in many ways enabling us to experience a way of life now forever gone.'-Charles Muller, Diadem Books.
