His only wish is to be a Sparkling Christmas Tree so he can share the joy of Christmas with all the children. He doesn't want to die, however, so he is doomed to stay in the quiet, lonely forest. With the help of a sparkling Twinkle from Santa's eye, Douglas is able to find the Christmas Spirit within him and overcome his impossible circumstances.
