The only thing that J.J. didn't expect was to become highly addictive to the Land of Dreams. She starts to spend more and more nights in the magical place, becoming hooked. At least, until fifteen-year-old Dharma Trouster, an albino hippie, who had given herself up to the Land of Dreams in the mid '70s, tells her the dark, twisted revelations of the magical world. That it was a place of horror and trapped souls. But J.J.'s life is a total disaster and she's desperate to get out of it. But there is a price to pay in order to stay in the Land of Dreams.
