Reseña del libro "THE INVENTORS AT THE END OF THE WORLD (en Inglés)"
Leo Venn has seventy-two hours to invent something that doesn’t exist. If he succeeds, he’ll be invited to a place that shouldn’t exist either. It begins with a mysterious box, three ordinary objects, and one impossible instruction: build something no one has ever built before. The challenge leads Leo to the Workshop, a secret institution hidden from the outside world, where extraordinary young inventors are trained to solve problems no one else knows how to face. Inside, entire laboratories move, machines fail on purpose, strange little robots roam the corridors, and every student is assigned to one of five Circuits—five radically different ways of thinking. Leo is placed alongside Maya, Sam, Amina, and Theo. They don’t think alike. They don’t work alike. And according to the Workshop’s own calculations, they probably shouldn’t work together at all. They become Team Impossible. At first, their biggest challenge is learning how not to sabotage one another. But then things begin happening that aren’t part of any test. Symbols appear where they shouldn’t. Machines react before anyone activates them. Hidden rooms refuse to appear on official maps. Old files seem to have been erased. And certain inventions contain technology that no one at the Workshop can explain. The deeper Leo and his friends look, the harder it becomes to tell where the tests end and the real danger begins. Because the Workshop was built to create the impossible. But someone—or something—may already have created it first. Now five young inventors who were never supposed to become a team will have to combine five completely different ways of thinking, question rules that exist for very good reasons, and solve a problem for which every obvious answer may be wrong. An adventure about invention, friendship, failure, impossible technology, and the dangerous question every great inventor eventually has to ask: What if the answer no one has found yet is the one we have to invent?
