Reseña del libro "The Harlow Dam (en Inglés)"

In 1958, the county floods Marrow Hollow to build the Harlow Dam. In the last season before the water rises, Iris Calloway - twenty-six, three years married - falls into an affair with Daniel Ferris, the young surveyor sent to measure the valley she's about to lose. When the water comes, Iris makes a choice she never speaks of again: she stays.Sixty-seven years later, her granddaughter Nell finds the letters Iris never sent, hidden in a bread tin, along with a hand-drawn map of a valley that no longer exists. What she uncovers isn't a confession - it's an argument for being known exactly as she was, not forgiven or excused for it. And when, decades later, the dam itself mysteriously cracks and briefly gives the valley back, one more piece of the story - buried by the man who loved it as carefully as she did - finally surfaces.
