Gottlob Frege (1848-1925) fue un filósofo, lógico y matemático alemán considerado uno de los fundadores de la lógica moderna y la semántica. A lo largo de su vida, desarrolló ideas que influyeron enormemente en la filosofía analítica y la teoría de la verdad. Entre sus obras más importantes se encuentran "Begriffsschrift" (1879), una obra fundamental en la lógica formal, y "Fundamentos de la aritmética" (1884), en la que aborda la naturaleza de los números y las matemáticas desde una perspectiva lógica.

Frege también es conocido por sus contribuciones al análisis del lenguaje y su concepto de "sentido" y "referencia", conceptos clave en la semántica. Aunque no recibió premios importantes durante su vida, su trabajo fue esencial para el desarrollo de la lógica matemática y la filosofía del lenguaje en el siglo XX.
