With the establishment of the State of Israel 1948, Zionism is generally considered to have solved the Jewish question in Europe, but this book argues that the shift of European states from nationalism to liberalism is what actually resolved the Jewish question, and that the creation of Israel produced two new questions: the Israeli question and the Palestinian question. The book discusses proposed solutions to these questions, as well as the reasons behind America's unconditional support for Israel.
