The Cinema; it's able to give Life to whom is no longer alive. It's able to bring History back to us. It's able to merge the Past with the Present, by shooting them, together, into the Future, still to come. This book is a sort of Journey around and inside the Time. It's a wonderful Journey inside my own Life. Remembering the Times I was animator of Cinema Clubs. During these years I also introduced some English Films, by also preparing the relative material.Since long time I aimed to collect my Presentation Cards to give rise to a publication. But I couldn't find them.A few time ago I connected to my Computer an old External Disk. Inside it, I retrieved another connection to material belonging to an even older disk, I copied on this one. And.... Inside this last disk, here are my Presentation Cards!So, I collected them, and the result is the book you can read now. And that's before you.So, this book is a true Journey along Space and Time. It brings back the Past to the Present Time. In the succession of these cards there's no organic order. There are some temporal jumps, and you'll realize so. But this is fully wished: in fact, the goal of this book is exceeding Space and Time, to drive you in to the Spaceless and Timeless World of Cinema. So, the jumps are, maybe, there to allow you to create new connections. And this could be an idea!The Cards you can find inside this book were written many years ago. So, also my way of seeing things and of relating with them was different from the actual one. Remember so, when you'll read my book! The emotions and viewpoints you can retrieve inside these pages are the ones of the past. And we all change during the years, and our perceptions change!Nevertheless, maybe the interest of this book is bringing the emotions of many years ago into the actual ones. To show a sort of continuity. Or maybe not: maybe the goal could be just showing the differences among Past and Present Moments. To draw a sort of comparison among them.So, I hope that this succession of Cards can raise up into yourself the wish f seeing these film. Maybe to have, of them, a totally different perception than my one. The creation of a cultural viewpoint steps from this too!I hope you find the material inside this book interesting.
