Zadie Smith (Reino Unido, 1975) es una novelista y ensayista británica nacida en Londres, hija de madre jamaicana y padre inglés. Su primera novela, White Teeth (2000), la catapultó al reconocimiento internacional y ganó el James Tait Black Memorial Prize, entre otros galardones. Otras obras relevantes incluyen On Beauty (finalista del Man Booker Prize y ganadora del Orange Prize for Fiction), NW y Swing Time.
