Patrick McDonnell (n. 1956) es un historietista e ilustrador estadounidense, reconocido por ser el creador de la tira cómica Mutts, una de las más aclamadas del cómic contemporáneo. Lanzada en 1994, Mutts sigue las aventuras de Earl, un perro, y Mooch, un gato, abordando con humor y sensibilidad temas como la amistad, la empatía y el respeto por los animales.
