Reseña del libro "The Apple Tree (en Inglés)"

In the peaceful village of Havene, nine-year-old friends Joimer and Maemey set out on a walk toward a local orchard owned by an elderly couple, Ruth and Simon. Tempted by the delicious fruit, the children pick and eat an apple without permission. Enjoying the taste, they continue eating until they both suffer severe stomach aches and Maemey stains her dress with apple juice. Ashamed, Maemey tries to hide the stains behind her apron, but both children's guilty behaviour and refusal to eat apple peels at home quickly give away their secret to their perceptive parents. Encouraged by their families, Joimer and Maemey take responsibility for their actions and confess their mistake to their parents and then go to Ruth and Simon to ask forgiveness. Appreciating their honesty, Ruth and Simon forgive the children by a hug and kiss. The children offer to make amends by helping harvest the orchard's apples to sell at the market. After a long day of hard work, Maemey returns home fully forgiven, only to discover the stains from her dress are gone, symbolising a return to grace.
