The theme for the book of Hebrews is "The Superiority of Christ and Christianity." My purpose for writing this commentary is to help all of us to come to the realization that Christianity is not ONE among many, but that it is THE ONE among many and that as believers we NEVER have to apologize for our faith in the person of Jesus Christ. Christians do not have to look anyplace else to find meaning and purpose in life. Once we know Christ we have everything we need for faith and practice. Jesus is superior above anything and everything else. In this book, we will be studying Hebrews 11-13. these chapters are the practical section of this epistle. in these final chapters, we will be taking a look at the following topics: Chapter 11 - The Roll Call of Heroes and Heroines Chapter 12 - Jesus Christ is a Better Hope Chapter 13 - The Duties of the Christian Life. As you make your way through this letter you will be challenged to grow and to mature in your walk with Christ. It is vital that we understand our faith so that we can pass it along to others.
