I purchased the book for my almost 5 year old granddaughter for a 2025 Christmas gift. She's probably a little young for it, but I noticed her later in the day among the busy family in the lounge in absorbed silence turning the pages of the entire book to look at the illustrations. She's unusually brave, adventurous, and quick minded so for a role model Pippi is literally fantastic, but the stories will I think will help her in how she sees she could become, or in more formal terms in development of identity and self actualization.
