Nick hasn't been having a great Summer. His mom works two jobs to make ends meet, his sister keeps him up at night with terrifying nightmares, and the neighbourhood kids all love to pick on him. The one thing Nick has to look forward to is a visit from his favorite person in the whole world: his uncle Damek.

So, when Damek dies in a cemetery not far from his house in Prague, Nick's entire world is thrown upside down. And not two weeks after he learns the tragic news, Nick receives a cryptic message warning of a threat to the city of Prague - addressed to Nick from his dead uncle.

Now, thrust into an unfamiliar country and an evil threat straight out of a fairy tale, Nick will have to follow the clues left by his uncle to save his family, and maybe even the whole of Prague.
