Reseña del libro "Soundscape Your Life: A Modern Music Manifesto for Inspired Living (en Inglés)"

Tania Chen is a contemporary pianist, sound artist, improvisor and composer living inside the music this book explores. Soundscape Your Life takes you into the room with sixteen of the most visionary composers who ever lived. You hear Scriabin at the piano, convinced sound could set the soul on fire. You stand with Delia Derbyshire in a BBC studio, building the future out of tape and silence. You feel what John Cage heard when he sat in a room designed to have no sound at all. You follow Kate Bush into the deep dreaming worlds she created. Each chapter ends with a manifesto. Not theory. Instructions for living. Ways of thinking and creating that these composers discovered through their work and that you can take into your own life, whatever you do. This book moves freely between pop, ambient, film music, experimental and contemporary classical. It recommends what to listen to. Hildegard Von Bingen knew it. Varèse spent his life proving it. Yoko Ono made it a manifesto. Music can change everything.
