The book So Dukh Kaisa Pavai is a collection of short stories based on the author's experiences in the practice of Homeopathy in India and the United States of America. Written primarily in the Punjabi language the book appeared serially in some of the Punjabi newspapers published in in the United States. The stories were penned down by the author to commemorate the 200th year of the publication of the Organon of the True art of Healing by Dr. Hahnemann in Germany in 2810. It was written in a spirit of reminding the readers of the importance of Homeopathy in the day to day health care. The stories reveal how helpful this healing art can be in curing even the most inveterate maladies like sepsis and cancer which can otherwise be fatal for many cases. It allays the general impression in the mind of the public that homeopathy is either ineffective or slow acting.
