Selected Short Stories by Maugham: A Chinese English T"

"Maugham was one of the storytelling writers of the 20th century, known as the 'Maupassant of England'. His short stories are written in a simple and clear style, with vivid characters and plot twists and turns. This book selects short stories by Maugham Show, presenting the customs and traditions of British overseas colonies a century ago, depicting the various aspects of life in Britain and the European continent, revealing the layers of bonds in love, marriage, and family, and harshly analyzing the hypocrisy, selfishness, and fragility of human nature.
