Didier Eribon es filósofo. Es el autor de una famosa biografía de Michel Foucault (Anagrama, 1992) (traducida a veinte idiomas) y ha publicado también varias otras obras que han hecho época como Identidades: reflexiones sobre la cuestión gay (Biblioteca del Ciudadano, Bellaterra, 2000), Reflexiones sobre la cuestión gay (Anagrama, 2001), Una moral de lo minoritario. Variaciones sobre un tema de Jean Genet (Anagrama, 2004), Herejías: ensayos sobre la teoría de la sexualidad (Col.
