Good: + realistic sample conversations with modern vernacular + audio on app and publisher website (and audio is pretty well acted) + plenty of idiom, colloquialism & phrasal verb definitions -and tests on these, and a glossary of them + answers to questions at the back (and no confusing multiple versions of the book, one with answers and one without!) Bad: - no comprehension questions for the sample conversations (which is not a problem for me because I am a teacher, but is a absolute dealbreaker for students learning on their own) - slow to update app to new edition of book (there aren't many changes between editions, but still enough to make things confusing) - presentation is very no frills (don't judge this book by its beautiful cover)
