The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the largest countries in Central Africa, but also one of the largest French-speaking countries in the world, having gained political independence on June 30, 1960. The country has experienced a number of political regimes, from monarchy to totalitarianism, before finally opting for a democratic system in which power emanates from the people and is exercised for the people.The DRC held its first democratic elections in 2006, followed by those of 2011 and 2018, and these elections have created a need for renewal of the Congolese political class, as the population feels that its aging political class is no longer able to deliver the results expected by the population, hence the massive participation of young people in the last elections.By putting together this manual, we are responding to the questions by guiding any young candidate new to the political arena or the race for elections to take into account c
