The warm love between Angelina Fino, born in Florence, Italy in 1924 and James Carson, born in Scotland in 1923 grew in a time where lots of destruction killed the lives and the hopes of many. While World War II was roaring through Europe, in Florence a young couple set eyes on each other and they knew that destiny, no matter how cruel to their surroundings, was offering them the opportunity to get to know each other and create a life together. James, as airplane engineer couldn't find work after the war in Italy so they had to move to Scotland and later on to the United States. Their love story is our example of how true feelings can be nurtured even throughout challenging trials in life. This biography is a true story told by Angelina with the age of 91. Seen by her two daughters as the most courageous woman they ever met.
