This is a useful book written for adoptive parents and foster families as the author herself is currently a foster mom and has adopted one child. This book is based on a true story. The author is a foster parent and has been since 2016. They have adopted one baby they received from foster care. After one year, the goal of reunification changed to adoption. They were overjoyed with happiness! They adopted their first baby this year in 2019. They have worked with all kids of all ages from 6 months to 15 years old. About the story: First time foster parents are thrilled to have their first child in their home. They are so excited when a little girl enters their home. The experience overwhelms them with happiness and joy. They are happy to be able to provide for this little girl, happy to give her whatever she needs. And eager to help her.
