Reseña del libro "On the Priesthood; Ascetic Treatises; Select Homilies and Letters; Homilies on the Statutes (en Inglés)"

While the Catholic church was starting to be formed at the time of most of these writings, the theological framework had yet to take shape and these writings help to give us a picture of the thinking behind the thinking that helped form the Christian world for centuries to come. Many topics are covered from the heresies circulating at the time to the role of the devil in the lives of believers. Personal letters are also included in the work that makes us form a picture of the personal thinking that passed in between the prime thinkers that formed the basis of all Christian churches from the apostolic era until now.
