Reseña del libro "Of Pure Gold (en Inglés)"

"Joy's book" is a series of humorous and tender stories about the different fears and difficulties that children have in the first years of their life, such as the one that is felt before the arrival of a brother, the one to go through the hole of the bathtub when the water is removed, the death of a loved one, etc. There is no limit to the imagination and everything is possible following the narrative logic of the initial problem. All the stories are made from the child's perspective and the high dramatic content of the situations they face is faithfully reflected in them. The series on Joy is aimed at children from two to seven years old.In the story "Of pure gold" Joy discovers that she lays golden eggs and when she tells her father, he rushes out to announce it in the square. In this way the children's theme so typical of the anal phase in the two years takes a comic and satirical course. A book full of funny consequences and totally from the perspective of the protagonist girl. Julio Millares won the Vargas Llosa Prize for novels and the Imaginaria Prize for children's stories. He lived in Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Sweden before returning to his native Argentina. He is a professor at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cuyo.
