Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky (1929) es un escritor, cineasta y artista chileno de ascendencia judío-ucraniana y nacionalidad francesa.

Entre sus ocupaciones encontramos una gran cantidad de trabajos en ámbitos como la música, el teatro, el cine, la pintura, el dibujo, la escultura…

Se le asocian un total de cuarenta y cuatro libros originales publicados y la autoría de más de doscientos cómics, entre los cuales destacan: Manual de Psicomagia (2004), La vía del Tarot (2006), Metagenealogía (2014) y Los hijos del topo (2017). Cuenta con una formación multifacética y autodidacta.

Entre sus premios se encuentran la Orden de las Artes y las Letras de Francia (2015), el Premio Fénix a la Trayectoria (2016), el Premio «La Máquina del Tiempo» del Festival de Cine de Sitges (2006), y el Premio «Jack Smith Lifetime Achievement» del Festival de Cine Underground de Chicago (2000).
