In this period of crisis, it is more important than ever to manage taxation well and to do so, to know the rules of the tax game. The need to properly manage taxation, especially VAT, at the company level may seem like a paradox to the uninitiated. Indeed, taxation could be perceived as a simple technical instrument which would consist in applying a tax rate to a taxable base. Thus, companies evolving in an environment where each of their transactions is governed by this reality, drag latent tax risks due to the approximate management of the tax department, which is often non-existent. This approximate management is often due to the negligence and ignorance of the tax provisions of the managers and also to their desire to make more profit than necessary. This often results in conscious or unconscious transgressions. To overcome all these problems, one of the solutions is a good tax management in general and a good VAT management in particular to be able to present a solid file of recovery of the VAT credits if the case arises.
