Jerry Jones has gone out on a limb. At the age of 51, he took out a 30-year mortgage to buy a vacant store located in Killington, Vermont, without his wife's approval. Set in eastern Vermont, this story portrays how emotions govern lives, causing individuals to consider adultery, deceit, revenge, and the taking of a life. It all culminates in a nursing home during a special Christmas, where peace is finally found.
