Amen.James "Jim" Miller pastored for twenty-eight years after retiring from the United States Army in 1989 as a Master Sergeant. They reside in Augusta, Georgia, where his five living children live also. He graduated from Ashworth College, Norcross, GA, with an accounting degree in June of 2005. He also has completed his major in History from Augusta State College, Augusta, GA.

James Miller (nacido en 1947) es un escritor y académico estadounidense, doctor en Historia de las Ideas por la Universidad de Brandeis. Actualmente, dirige el departamento de Liberal Studies en la New School for Social Research.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentra La pasión de Michel Foucault (1993), una biografía que explora la vida y pensamiento del filósofo francés. Otra obra notable es Vidas sujetas a escrutinio: De Sócrates a Nietzsche (2011), donde analiza las trayectorias de diversos filósofos a lo largo de la historia. Estas publicaciones pertenecen al género de ensayo filosófico y han sido reconocidas por su profundidad y rigor académico.
