Fiction. Short stories of members, young and old, belonging to a church community during a period of approximatley thirty years. This is not a history of the church. Nor is it biographical, although several of the stories relate to the same people at different stages or ages of life. In Scripture, the Apostle Peter states: "Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house.." (1 Peter 2:4). These are the 'Living Stones' of the stories: precious tiny gems that sparkle between the larger blocks that make up the walls and support the roof; the various colours and shapes of the precious and semi-precious stones that make the building welcoming and gracious. They are stories of the quarrying, the shaping and the cleaning, and the fitting them in place. We meet them in their homes and in their church home, visit with them and bid them farewell.
