The corsairs were to be feared as they didn't just raid and steal valuable goods but people!
This time the fisher village had been singled out as a place to land and set up a base in order to facilitate more raids further inland. They chose this village for its isolation and the occupants were just a nuisance to be eradicated, no one was allowed to live and yet one young boy managed to survive by hiding out in a local cave.
Tuareg hid as he watched his village burnt to the ground not knowing what he could do against the heavily armed corsairs.
He was would not be alone for long as a team of rangers tasked with locating the coastal communication towers and bringing them back online would introduce him to a technology that had been pushed into the realms of magic and mythology.
This time the corsairs would be met with resistance by the government troops that had finally managed the perilous trip over the mountains to link up the watch towers for an impenetrable defence of their coastline. Who had constructed the towers remained a mystery, but their use was obvious as they bristled with antenna.
