Reseña del libro "Jambiya: Daggers From the Ancient Souqs of Yemen (en Inglés)"

From the resting place of Noah's ark, the home of the Queen of Sheba, from the land of frankincense and myrrh come these ancient Islamic treasures. Superbly photographed, JAMBIYA takes you on a journey through the oldest souqs of Arabia to discover these exquisite and exotic weapons. Crafted by lost generations of Jewish and Moslem jewellers using silver, gold, rhinoceros horn and ivory, the art of the jambiya is fast fading into history. In revealing the secrets of this art, Gracie draws on his extensive experience in this little-known corner of the Middle East to explore its fascinating and complex history.
