Reseña del libro "It's Never That Serious (en Inglés)"

Siddant Bharath started writing this book at seventeen. He wrote it for his fifteen-year-old self, who believed one bad game, one bad grade, or one unanswered text could ruin everything. It's Never That Serious is a collection of ten stories about his teenage years. Sid writes about the concussions that ended his basketball career and left him unsure who he was. He writes about a night alone in Death Valley with no phone and no plan. He writes about the semester he gave up on school, the friend group that fell apart, and the habit of comparing himself to everyone around him. He also writes about stress he couldn't name or turn off. Each essay shows what these moments felt like while he was living them and how he slowly learned they would pass. Every chapter ends with the advice he wishes someone had given him back then.Foreword by Eric Maisel, PhD. Author of Why Smart Teens Hurt and more than sixty books on creativity, meaning, and human flourishing. Eric says that this book is for teenagers who feel alone in what they're going through and for the parents trying to reach them.
