William Franklin Graham Jr. (7 de noviembre de 1918 – 21 de febrero de 2018) fue un influyente evangelista estadounidense, conocido como el “pastor de América” y una de las figuras más destacadas del cristianismo evangélico del siglo XX. A lo largo de su carrera, predicó el Evangelio en vivo a más de 215 millones de personas en más de 185 países y territorios, además de llegar a cientos de millones más a través de la televisión, radio y otros medios .

Nació en una granja cerca de Charlotte, Carolina del Norte. Su conversión al cristianismo ocurrió a los 16 años, en 1934, durante una serie de encuentros evangelísticos en Charlotte. Estudió en el Florida Bible Institute y en Wheaton College, donde se graduó en 1943. En 1943, se casó con Ruth Bell, con quien tuvo cinco hijos .

En 1950 fundó la Asociación Evangelística Billy Graham (BGEA), que organizó cruzadas evangelísticas masivas y programas de radio como Hour of Decision. Su ministerio fue pionero en el uso de los medios de comunicación para difundir el mensaje cristiano.
