Héctor Ruiz Martín es director de la International Science Teaching Foundation. Biólogo e investigador en los campos de la psicología cognitiva de la memoria y el aprendizaje, ha sido profesor tanto en la educación secundaria como en la universidad. Su carrera científica se ha desarrollado en centros de investigación de Estados Unidos como la Universidad de Washington y el Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA) de California. En los últimos quince años, ha trabajado en el desarrollo de recursos educativos fundamentados en la evidencia científica en torno al aprendizaje, que han alcanzado a centenares de miles de estudiantes en Europa y América. Además, ha sido asesor de diversos gobiernos e instituciones educativas en España, Asia y Latinoamérica. Héctor Ruiz Martín es también autor de ¿Cómo aprendemos?
