On September 11, 2001, the unimaginable happened in America. It started out just like any other day. People were heading for work, taking kids to school, and making plans for the things they needed to get done. Unbeknownst to most of Americans, danger was lurking in the skies above. Never had the Continental United States ever faced what was about to happen in the over 200 years of her existence. The tragic events that would take place on that day would forever change the face of America and the way she conducts day-to-day affairs. With just a handful of radical terrorists and our own commercial airplanes, these cowards rained such terra and destruction that it would be brained in the minds of those that were citizens during that time. It was those very actions, that all of the American citizens decided that they would "never forget" what had been done to them and that the group responsible would be dealt with to the fullest degree. But just a short 20 years later, we as Americans must as the all-important question, "Have we forgotten"? From the things that we see going on in our Nation, the answer seems to be a resounding "Yes"! What has caused such a great catastrophe seems to be put aside and not remembered after the countless lives that were lost on that dreadful day?
